Player Previews in 100 Days – Day 50: Xavier Smith, Palmyra HS
Primary Position: Defensive End/Outside Linebacker. Coaches Comments: Xavier’s role on defense expanded as his freshman 2023 season went on and he is poised for a major breakout campaign as a sophomore in 2024, especially on the defensive side of the ball. He’s got a great frame as he plays fast, physical, and aggressive brand of football and is one of the strongest players in our football program. He’s a young leader for our team and is a consistent hard worker who is extremely driven and motivated. We will look to lean on him as he takes on a major role for our team in 2024.
