    Cash reward available for information on deadly King Street shooting

    COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Columbus Police Department (CPD) says a cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest of a shooting suspect.

    On Aug. 17, 2023, at about 10:35 p.m., Columbus police were dispatched to Briarwood Avenue and King Street. In front of a home in the 2900 block of King Street, officers found Joseph Delaney Kimble shot multiple times.

    Kimble was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Columbus Police still searching for man wanted for September 11 murder

    Anyone with information on Kimble’s death is asked to call Corporal Christy Edenfield at 706-
    987-7564 or email at cedenfield@columbusga.org. A cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest, according to CPD.
