Hot Today, Isolated Showers & Storms Possible!

We’re starting out in the mid to upper 70s this morning with cloudy conditions. As we head toward the Noon hour, temps will be in the upper 80s, increasing into the mid 90s by the afternoon. Heat Index values today will be approaching 105°. If you’re going to be outside today, make sure you stay hydrated with plenty of water. Isolated showers and storms will be possible this afternoon.

Monday, we’ll see an uptick in the chance for showers and storms, as they’ll be scattered to widespread, and with some additional cloud cover, that will keep our highs down a few degrees into the low 90s. Heat index values again will be up over the century mark.

Tuesday, the chance for showers and storms becomes more isolated as we start to trend drier heading into midweek, plus highs head back into the mid 90s.

Wednesday through Friday, only stray showers and storms will be possible with highs in the mid 90s, and some areas possibly seeing upper 90s.

Next weekend, we could see another slight increase in the chance for some showers and storms, but at this point, definitely doesn’t look like a washout by any means.
