Geotechnical Testing Set For ‘Cairo’ Bridge Replacement
Photo: A lift boat is expected to start Geotech drilling in the Ohio River this weekend just upstream from the U.S. 51 Ohio River ‘Cairo’ Bridge. The Donald Olsen is expected to arrive on-site this afternoon and work in the river for about two months checking riverbed soil density to help with design of piers for a new bridge.
