Giants might have gifted the Twins a perfect solution to their bullpen issues
We’ve reached the home stretch of the season, and while Minnesota is just 3.5 games out of first place in the AL Central the team is moving in the wrong direction. The Minnesota Twins appear to be running out of gas at the worst possible time. A sweep at the hand of the Atlanta Braves has revealed even more cracks in the facade, as a roster that wasn’t properly invested in over the last six months is coming apart at the seams.

Channel project gets new life, appraisal OK’d
In the hallways of government it is understood that things take time. In the pursuit of navigability of the Chisago Chain of Lakes nothing could be truer. The Chisago County Board accepted a recommendation from the Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District (LID) managers 10 years ago to “postpone” further action on enhancements to the channel between North Center Lake and North Lindstrom, until more specific bridge design (for the span on the channel’s west end) could be finalized.

Vikings ideal QB reunion fantasy could've actually become reality, but they passed
The Minnesota Vikings made a rather simple and uncontroversial decision this offseason. With Sam Darnold and J.J. McCarthy in tow, and Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall still on the roster, they did not pursue a reunion with former backup QB and brief Minnesota celebrity Joshua Dobbs, who inked a contract with the San Francisco 49ers. Ironically, he is now tasked replacing Sam Darnold on the west coast.
