The Coon Rapids Recycling Center is hosting a free paper shredding event to help you declutter those old tax returns, bank statements, and other confidential papers without a second thought about security. According to a recent announcement on the City of Coon Rapids website, the event is slated for Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or until the truck reaches its full capacity.
