Draft Analyst Believes Ohio State Has Shot To Make NFL Draft History

A little over two months out from the start of the college football season, many analysts believe the Ohio State Buckeyes could be the 2024 version of last year’s Michigan Wolverines.

Loaded with talent at seemingly every position, Ohio State has the second-best odds (+375) to win the national championship next season , per BetMGM .

After having just four players drafted in April with so many players returning for 2024, the Buckeyes have arguably the most stacked roster in college football in terms of potential future NFL players, which is why The Athletic’s Dane Brugler, one of the top NFL Draft analysts in the industry, believes OSU could make history in the 2025 NFL Draft.

“Ohio State has a veteran-stocked roster flush with soon-to-be NFLers,” Brugler wrote . “Plenty will happen between now and April 2025, but right now, I have draftable grades on 15 draft-eligible Buckeyes. … Michigan’s 13 draft picks set a school record but fell shy of the modern-day NFL Draft standard of 15, set by Georgia in 2022. Ohio State will have a chance to compete for that mark in the 2025 NFL Draft.”

The 15 draft hopefuls Brugler mentioned include:

    · Tyleik Williams, DT (top-100 grade)

    · JT Tuimoloau, edge-rusher (top-100 grade)

    · Jack Sawyer, edge-rusher (top-100 grade)

    · Quinshon Judkins, RB (top-100 grade)

    · TreVeyon Henderson, RB (top-100 grade)

    · Denzel Burke, CB (top-100 grade)

    · Davison Igbinosun, CB (top-100 grade)

    · Jordan Hancock, CB (top-100 grade)

    · Emeka Egbuka, WR (top-100 grade)

    · Donovan Jackson, OG (Day 3 grade)

    · Will Howard, QB (Day 3 grade)

    · Lathan Ransom, S (Day 3 grade)

    · Sonny Styles, LB (Day 3 grade)

    · Ty Hamilton, DT (Day 3 grade)

    · Cody Simon, LB (Day 3 grade)
