    Fireworks, Crew game, parades: See pictures from across Columbus this Fourth of July

    Did you miss out on central Ohio's Fourth of July celebrations Thursday? Or are you just looking to reminisce about Independence Day as you roll into the extended holiday weekend?

    Lucky for you, Dispatch photographers were on hand to help you out. We've got photo galleries and videos from some of the highest-profile events in the city.

    Red, White and Boom!

    The weather looked iffy beforehand, but Columbus's largest fireworks show went off with a blast July 3. Our photographers captured images of the show itself, the crowds that gathered, and even the Columbus Crew playing with a particularly patriotic background due to a rain delay.

    Columbus Crew play Nashville SC

    Speaking of the Crew, the team Crew took down Nashville SC 2-0 after the weather delay. The game had been moved up to avoid conflict with the Columbus fireworks show, but Mother Nature had different ideas.

    Doo-Dah Parade

    On July 4 itself, liberty and lunacy were celebrated at the Doo-Dah Parade, a Short North-area tradition for decades.

    In Bexley, practically half the suburb gathered to watch the parade, while the other half participated.
