ESPN's Football Power Index top 25 is always one of the most opined preseason rankings because of its wide variance in comparison to others. In 2024, however, the usual suspects are at the top of the poll with a couple bluebloods and pair of darkhorses rounding out the top 10. Compared to the 247Sports post-spring rankings, this one looks vastly different toward the back end of the poll, which reflects transfer portal additions, various roster changes and conference-title perception among contenders.
