The episode starts with a flashback showing how York commanded the Seraphim and orchestrated the events on the island. It then shifts its attention back to Elbaf, where Kid prepares to take on the red-haired pirates. However, he was confronted by Shanks’ allies instead.

Kid got angry and demanded to fight Shanks himself. Meanwhile, on the island, Shanks prepared to leave, but the people were reluctant to let him go. He bade them a proper farewell and warned them to stay away from the bay. He boarded his ship and asked for information on Captain Kid.

Meanwhile, Kid was preparing a new devastating attack stronger than his damned punk. However, Shanks was able to see what would happen if Kid fired that attack through his observation haki and attacked. He used his conqueror haki and countered the Kids’ attack, defeating both him and Killer simultaneously. The kid pirates surrendered, offering the road poneglyphs in exchange for Kid’s life. The episode ended with Shanks taking the markings while Dorry and Broggy destroyed Kids’ ship.
