No Way Out: The Roulette episode 3 aired on Disney Plus on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Starring Yoo Jae-Myung and Jo Jin-Woong, the thriller K-drama revolves around a murderer who has a bounty on his head. The day he completes his 13-year prison sentence, he learns someone has announced a reward of 20 billion won for anyone who kills the former.

In the previous episode, a masked online streamer played a game of roulette for his viewers. He gave a whopping prize money to those who fulfilled his tasks. This time, he put a bounty on the head of the infamous criminal Kim Guk-Ho (Yoo Jae-Myung). Meanwhile, Detective Baek Joong-Sik’s (Jo Jin-Woong) hidden crime would haunt him for a long time.

No Way Out: The Roulette episode 3 introduces a new character, Lee Sang-Bong (Kim Mu-Yeol). He is a lawyer who has been scammed and lost all his savings. Therefore, he takes a bribe to lose a case, hinting at his situation, which is similar to that of Joong-Sik. He is asked to stand for the next election against another new entry, Mayor Ahn Myung-Ja (Yeom Jung-Ah), but he refuses. The questions remains regarding how they will get involved with Guk-Ho.

What happens in No Way Out: The Roulette Episode 3?

No Way Out: The Roulette episode 3 further shows Sang-Bong watching Guk-Ho’s news on television. He then checks out the masked man’s roulette video, and an idea strikes him. He calls his boss and says he will deal with Myung-Ja’s re-election strategies. Meanwhile, a big crowd continues to protest outside the criminal’s house while Joong-Sik and his fellow cops provide security to the murderer.

Joong-Sik goes into panic mode since he stole the money bag from a criminal. The money belonged to the dead man who cut Chang-Jae’s ear in episode 1 under the masked man’s order. However, after his death, Chang-Jae has been searching for the bag, only to discover that Joong-Sik has it. Therefore, the latter hides it in his colleague’s car.

Meanwhile, Sang-Bong arrives outside Guk-Ho’s house and finds an appropriate place. From there, he shouts and offers to become the criminal’s attorney, silencing the protesters. The attorney pulls a public stunt to grab the murderer’s attention. Eventually, Guk-Ho is willing to talk to the lawyer, leaving Joong-Sik annoyed.

While Guk-Ho takes Sang-Bing’s offer, a mysterious man is seen experimenting with a bomb. On the other hand, Joong-Sik receives a parcel containing a pen drive. In it, a black box footage shows the detective stealing the bag of money. Chang-Jae then calls him and threatens him that he will share the video with the news channel if Joong-Sik does not give the bag to him.

No Way Out: The Roulette Episode 3 ending spoilers

In No Way Out: The Roulette episode 3, Guk-Ho has a second meeting with Sang-Bong. The criminal tells the lawyer he will trust him if the attorney can get him custody of his son. Guk-Ho doesn’t want to sign the divorce papers that his wife has sent. Sang-Bong again creates a ruckus outside his house so the cops can let Guk-Ho out.

Meanwhile, the mysterious man from earlier sends a package carrying the bomb to Guk-Ho. But one of the detectives receives it. Sang-Bong argues with the cop for checking the item inside the package before bringing it to him. As they argue, the mysterious man tries to detonate the bomb. However, due to some issue, it does not explode at the time.

Joong-Sik stops the argument, takes the parcel, and keeps it inside his car. The bomber drops the pen remote in frustration and takes out an acid bottle. He tries to run toward Guk-Ho, but some cops stop him. One of the officers runs toward the commotion, and suddenly, the parcel explodes. Once again, one of the cops is injured because of Guk-Ho, and Joong-Sik looks angry.
