Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Trailer Dives Deep Into Fan-Favorite Mode

Activision has released a brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies trailer, diving deeper into the new additions to the classic Call of Duty mode.

What’s new in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies?

Perhaps the biggest piece of news that fans will love to see is the fact that round-based Zombies mode is back. This mode will allow 1-4 players to take down zombies, all while leveling up weapons and setting up for the next wave. The two launch maps included in Zombies in Black Ops 6 will be Terminus, set in the Philippine Sea, and Liberty Falls, set in West Virginia.

Main quests will also make a return to Zombies, with developer Treyarch looking to make them a bit more challenging. This time around, an all-new Guided Mode will also be included in the game, allowing players to get a bit of a feel for each map after they launch.

As a part of the overall gameplay mechanics of Black Ops 6, Zombies also utilizes the game’s new “omnimovement” system, allowing players to sprint, slide, and run in any direction to get away from zombies quick. The trailer also dove into some of the fan-favorite features that will return, including GobbleGums, deep weapon customization, and a variety of new and returning Zombie types.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25, 2024, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
