Chinese Drama Love’s Rebellion Episode 15 Recap & Spoilers

The ongoing Xianxia Chinese drama Love’s Rebellion, starring Zhang Linghe and Jing Tian, released episode 15 on August 8, 2024. Episode 15 focuses on what happens to Ji Yang (Zhang Linghe) after he sacrifices himself to save Nan Yan (Jing Tian).

In this episode, Yin Ya carries Nan Yan out of the Death Valley. The chief of the Sorrow Mountain Brahma Sea saves them and brings them to his temple. Yin Ya is confused about why he has been helping them. The old man answers that he wants to fetch Nan Yan and cultivate her in the mountain. Yin Ya can now clearly see that the old man is from the Brahma Sea and ferries a living being. He asks him to let them go, but he refuses. The demigod soon puts him to sleep so he can not leave.

Meanwhile, Nan Yan wakes up from her coma and immediately searches for Ji Yang. Memories of their last conversation before he sacrificed himself start to haunt her. She looks for him everywhere, but he is nowhere to be found. The old chief of the Brahma Sea approaches her and promises to reunite her with her love. He transports her to the filth valley with the help of a magical tunnel.

Ji Yang, on the other hand, falls deeper into the gorge. He regains consciousness and finds himself surrounded by evil entities called the Yin Zhus. Suddenly, a ghostly apparition with a human face approaches him. It doesn’t take him long to figure out that it is the evil demon, Sen Luo. The demon gets mad when Ji Yang calls him by his name.

Ji Yang bravely faces the demon and blames it for causing havoc in the five states and making everyone’s life miserable on Earth. The master of the immortal sect sacrificed himself to seal the demon, yet he failed to seal its soul. Sen Lou carefully investigates Ji Yang’s soul and finds out that he has cultivated the Heart of the Six Realms. He is impressed that Ji Yang’s body can outstand the Yin Zhu attacks and can break illusions during the Yin Hours. Sen Lou decides to use this body as a vessel for him.

But Ji Yang refuses to surrender. He fights him with whatever little power he has. He lures him, along with the other Yin Zhus, inside his body. Next, he performs premorbid annihilation and kills the demon while he is inside his body. The annihilation seals the entrance of the Death Valley, barring Nan Yan, who was trying to get Ji Yang from going inside.

Ji Yang falls unconscious after he sucks all the evil entities inside his body. On the other hand, Nan Yan senses the impending danger to Ji Yang and keeps trying to get into the valley but fails. She breaks down in tears once she understands that she will never be reunited with Ji Yang.

What happens in Love’s Rebellion episode 15’s ending?

Heartbroken, she returns home. But every nook and corner of the house reminds her of Ji Yang and the lovely time she spent with him. She can finally understand that Ji Yang was well aware that he would end up dying when he left the lunar sect.

She returns to the chief and expresses her desire to join his sect. He takes her to the Nine Calamities Pagoda, where she will face the nine calamities to experience the parting of life and death and ultimately let go of her heart. Nan Yan successfully endures the three calamities of happiness, anger, and sadness. Next, a masked woman comes to rid her of her emotions. But Nan Yan appears to be trapped by Ji Yang’s love.
