Hulu Schedule August 12-18 2024: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Hulu’s new TV and movie releases on its schedule for August 12-18, 2024, include the complete fifth season of Solar Opposites and the films Immaculate and Smile.

Starting August 12, Hulu subscribers can check out all episodes of Solar Opposites Season 5. This animated sitcom follows a family of aliens from a world superior to Earth who take shelter in middle America. The family also works towards their goal of protecting Pupa, a living supercomputer destined to consume them, evolve into its true form, and eventually terraform Earth. Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick and Morty, is also a co-creator of this series.

Then, on August 15, Smile drops on Hulu. This horror-mystery film stars Sosie Bacon and follows Dr. Rose Cotter, who begins experiencing terrifying paranormal activities after a traumatic incident involving a patient.

Finally, on August 16, Sydney Sweeney ‘s Immaculate arrives on Hulu. The story centers on an American nun who joins a convent in the Italian countryside. Soon after, she discovers that her convent is shady and sinister, committing several vile acts.

Also releasing on Hulu this week as part of the schedule is The Woman King. This historical action-drama film stars Viola Davis as General Nanisca, a leader of the all-female warrior unit Agojie, dedicated to protecting the African kingdom of Dahomey in the 1800s. The story focuses on Nanisca training the next generation of warriors and preparing them for battle against an enemy threatening their livelihood.
