Failure Frame Episode 6 recap

Episode 6 of Failure Frame picks up where the previous one left off, with Touka telling Seras to change her clothes. He also suggests she follow him to the Witch of Taboo so she can hide her. She asks why he is willing to go so far for her. However, he tells her it’s because she reminds him of his aunt. Before leaving, he asks Gizun who sent him to kill Seras.

However, his former comrades kill him before he can answer. The episode then introduces Civit Garland, known as humanity’s strongest. He tells Seras that the king she served wants her dead, which stuns her. Touka, sensing her distress, steps up to confront Civit. He reveals his identity as an otherworlder and asks Civit to postpone their fight.

Despite his initial reluctance, Civit agrees to free Touka and Seras until he is strong enough. However, Mimori paralyzes him and his comrades when their guard is down and poisons them. Reinforcement arrives, and Touka unveils his and Piggymaru’s combination technique to defeat the other riders.

With Civit gone, Seras expresses concern over the hero killer possibly coming after them. However, Mimori tells her he is already dead. Meanwhile, the other heroes are confronted by Visces’ subordinate Nyantan, who asks them to return to the capital. The episode ends with Seras swearing loyalty to Touka and them going on their journey.
