Amazon Prime Video Schedule August 19-25 2024: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Amazon Prime Video’s new TV shows and movies on the release schedule for August 19-25 2024 include the movies Drive-Away Dolls and 10 Cloverfield Lane.

On August 22, Thursday, viewers can stream Drive-Away Dolls on Amazon Prime Video. It is a comedy crime movie starring Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan. The story follows Jamie, a free-spirited girl dealing with a new breakup, and her demure friend Marian, who has trouble being chill. The two go on a road trip to Tallahassee for a fresh start. However, Jamie and Marian soon encounter incompetent criminals along the way.

August 24 sees 10 Cloverfield Lane drop on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg from a screenplay by Damien Chazelle, Josh Campbell, and Matthew Stuecken, the story follows a woman, who, after a car accident is put in a shelter with two men. These men believe that the world is suffering from a terrible chemical attack.

Also arriving on Amazon Prime Video during this week as part of the release schedule are all three seasons of Lethal Weapon.

Lethal Weapon is action-adventure comedy drama show following a former Navy SEAL with an unhinged personality, who becomes a Los Angeles cop. After becoming a cop, he is teamed up with an experienced detective who wishes for lower stress levels in his life.
