WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made a major announcement about CM Punk ahead of his upcoming match against Drew McIntyre at Bash in Berlin. The heated rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is set to escalate at the WWE Bash in Berlin. Both are set to clash in a strap match this Saturday.
During the latest episode of WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre addressed his upcoming match with CM Punk. McIntyre once again made things personal, taking shots at Punk’s family and mocking his cherished bracelet to provoke him further. McIntyre accused Punk of being afraid of him. Despite McIntyre’s taunts with the bracelet, he was caught off guard by what happened next.
When CM Punk’s music played, McIntyre prepared to face him. But Punk surprised him by attacking from behind, having hidden under the ring. Before launching his attack, Punk even went live on Instagram from beneath the ring.
Punk whipped McIntyre with a strap and tried to reclaim his bracelet. A brawl erupted, with Punk continuing to whip McIntyre. When security guards intervened, Punk whipped them as well. Although Punk succeeded in attacking McIntyre, his actions against the security guards have now led to consequences ahead of his match at WWE Bash in Berlin.
Adam Pearce fines CM Punk for his actions on WWE RAW
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is clearly unhappy with CM Punk’s attack on the security guards. Pearce has decided to fine the former WWE Champion for his actions on the show. Taking to Twitter, Pearce announced that he had fined Punk an undisclosed amount for attacking the security guards.
The heated rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has become a burden for the RAW General Manager. This isn’t the first time Adam Pearce has fined Punk for his actions. In July, Pearce fined Punk for interfering in Drew McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank.
CM Punk has yet to respond to the fine. He is preparing to battle Drew McIntyre in their strap match this Saturday in Germany at WWE’s Bash in Berlin.
