The City of Jackson’s 100 Homes Program is on a mission to build 100 new single-family homes on vacant lots over the next two years by providing down payment assistance and connecting buyers to homebuilders. Community members looking to get involved in this innovative effort in Jackson have an upcoming opportunity. The City’s Human Relations Commission (HRC) is hosting a Community Housing Event on Saturday, Aug. 3, 9-11:30 a.m. at the MLK Recreation Center for the community to learn more about the 100 Homes Program.
