Lake Erie College moves to elevate its Professional Development programs
Lake Erie College announced that its Education Department is collaborating with Instructional Delivery Services to elevate its Professional Development programs. IDS will take over as the service provider for professional coursework, offering a broader range of courses and instructors to meet the needs of educators across the region, according to a news release.
Northeastern Athletic Conference adds Middlefield Cardinal
The Northeastern Athletic Conference is adding Middlefield Cardinal in the 2025-26 school year. Conference principals approved the Huskies entry as did the Middlefield school board. Chardon 7-on-7 quad reconnects football coaches Mitch Hewitt and Olmsted Falls’ Tom DeLuca
The connection between Olmsted Falls and Chardon dated back years prior to their highly-anticipated season opener. As Olmsted Falls Coach Tom DeLuca and Chardon’s Mitch Hewitt were briefly college roommates with the Bowling Green State football team, their respective teams became yearly sparring partners in Chardon’s 7-on-7 quad.
