Hollidaysburgs’ star offensive tackle, Wyatt Maines, has committed to Saint Francis University. Maines joins his teammate, Hunter Albright, in SFU’s 2025 recruiting class. Maines is a 6’5″, 265 pound force on both sides of the football. He plays defensive end, along with offensive tackle. Charges are pending against a Saltsburg man following an incident of DUI earlier this month in White Township. State police say they conducted a traffic stop along the 1300 block of Indian Springs Road shortly after 10 p.m. on July 6th and found the driver, identified only as a 45-year-old man from Saltsburg, under the influence of a controlled substance. CLEARFIELD COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH ROBBERY
State police in Indiana have charged a Clearfield County man following a robbery Tuesday afternoon in White Township. Troopers say 22-year-old Nicholas Joseph Holbert of Osceola Mills was charged with a felony count of robbery along with misdemeanor charges of possessing instruments of crime and theft by unlawful taking for the incident along Pompano Drive.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Caitlin Clark is savoring the thought of some time off even though the Indiana star wanted to go to the Olympics. Clark didn't look like she needed a break while setting a WNBA record with 19 assists in a game in the Fever's finale before the stoppage heading into the Paris Games. Clark's milestone came in a 101-93 loss to the Dallas Wings. It's not quite time for Clark to take a breather.
