Local H are not letting their recently canceled US tour with Helmet keep them off the road. Instead, the band has booked a fall headlining tour of its own, featuring support from garage-punkers Radkey .

Last week, Helmet shared the unfortunate news that they were canceling their fall tour with Local H due to “significant financial concerns and lower than expected ticket sales.” At the time, Local H promised that “good news is on the horizon.” Now, Local H have unveiled dates for a headlining US run that will feature the duo performing their 2004 album Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? in its entirety.

The tour kicks off September 15th in Cleveland, and runs through an October 16th gig in Chicago, making stops in New York City, Memphis, Kansas City, and Las Vegas, among other towns. Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster , while fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Soles? tour,” stated Local H in a new press release. “Thanks to our awesome team (and all of our awesome friends at our favorite clubs) the show WILL go on! Sadly, we won’t be out with our pals in Helmet — BUT we’ve enlisted our buddies in Radkey to come along for this wild ride. And on top of that — ALL DATES (except for the festival gigs) will NOW feature a performance of Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? ? in its entirety.”

In addition to the tour, a 20th anniversary remastered reissue of Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? is set for release on September 13th, with pre-orders available here . “I think it’s the best record we ever made,” said frontman Scott Lucas. “And I’m psyched that it’s finally on vinyl.”
