County Clerk discusses election processes and security at last Thursday’s Rotary meeting
Laclede County Clerk Linda Cansler discussed Security and processes planned for the August primary election at Thursday’s Lebanon Rotary Club luncheon. “When we have election judges out there, there are a lot of questions that get asked of them,” Cansler said. “These are the things I’m trying to share with you, because when you know them, you can share them with others.” Absentee ballots, Cansler explained, are for those unable to appear on election day. She said no excuse voting takes place during the two weeks before the elections and can be completed at the courthouse. For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
