    CCU men’s basketball non-conference schedule released

    CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — The CCU men’s basketball team has released their 2024-2025 non-conference schedule. Coastal Carolina will play 13 non-conference teams, with two of those including the MAC-SBC Challenge. 5 of the 13 contests will be hosted at the HTC Center in Conway.

    The Chanticleers will open the season in Conway as they host the Western Michigan Broncos on Nov. 4 for game one of the MAC-SBC Challenge. The men in teal will then hit the road to play East Carolina (Nov. 9) and the 2024 NCAA Final Four participant NC State on Nov. 13.

    Coastal Carolina will return home to host Jacksonville State on Nov. 17 before they play in the Alabama A&M MTE in Huntsville, AL. There, the Chanticleers will face the host Bulldogs on Nov. 22 before wrapping up the tournament against IU Indianapolis (Frm. IUPUI) on Nov. 23.

    The Chants will wrap up the month of November by hosting USC Upstate on Nov. 30.

    Kicking off the month of December, the Chants will hit the road to face Campbell on Dec. 4 and Winthrop on Dec. 7, before returning home on Dec. 11 to host Southern Virginia.

    CCU will play at North Carolina A&T on Dec. 17 and end 2024 hosting Warner University on Dec. 29. The Chants will go on the road for their final non-conference game of the season on Feb. 8 in the second game of the MAC-SBC Challenge against an opponent that is yet to be announced.

    The Chants open conference action on Dec. 21 when they play at Arkansas State.
