Bunker Hills to host MN 100 golf tourney Aug. 6

The MN 100 Club golf tournament will be held on Aug. 6 at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids. The event will kick off at 11:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony featuring a flyover by the T6 Thunder. Golfers will play an 18-hole scramble and enjoy entertainment, dinner and a live auction following golf. To help fill the gap left by lost wages and funeral expenses, the MN 100 Club provides up to $50,000 in emergency financial assistance when a first responder is killed or critically injured in the line of duty.

“It’s been a very challenging year for our first responder community,” Club President Lanee Noble said. “We have distributed over $250,000 already this year. This fundraising event will help make sure that we can be there for the next family that needs us.”
