For the first time in school history, Bandon was awarded the OSAA Cup for overall excellence in athletics, academics, activities and sportsmanship. Chess Tournament for all ages, all skill levels August 3rd
Saturday, August 3rd at the 5th Street Park in Coquille, the Coquille Chess Club will host a fun chess tournament/potluck. Arrive at 9:30 a.m. The tournament is nonrated so no USCF membership fee required. This is a chance for family members to try out their chess skills alon with our scholastic players. Badminton, squirt guns and fun outdoor games will also be available between rounds. Expect to play five rounds of chess. Prizes will be outdoor toys. $5.00 registration fee.
