Keweenaw County shines light on mental health
EAGLE HARBOR, Mich. (WLUC) - A partnership in Keweenaw County spread awareness about an important topic Saturday. Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds held a Shine the Light 5K race in Eagle Harbor. Afterward, the County Sheriff’s Office hosted a public safety day. Attendees learned about mental health issues and their local emergency services. Race proceeds will help the volunteer group host more events to promote mental health. Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds volunteer Michelle Morgan said their goal is to help the community.
