Over the next two days, IMG Academy will play host to the Under Armour Future 50, where several of the top athletes and Miami Hurricanes targets in the 2026 class will showcase their talents.

In 2022, former Hurricanes such as Francis Mauigoa and Riley Williams participated in the event, and last year several of Miami’s top targets in the 2025 class were on hand, such as SJ Alofaituli , Jaboree Antoine , Myron Charles , Jaime Ffrench , Byron Louis , Hylton Stubbs and Dallas Wilson .

So who is on the Hurricanes’ radar at this year’s event?

CaneSport takes a closer look at some of the names to know at this year’s Under Armour Future 50 event, and we will be on hand covering it for you (note that all rankings are courtesy of the On3 Industry Ranking):

DL Jahkeem Stewart , No. 3 overall prospect

The Louisiana native has long been regarded as one of the top prospects in the country since he was in eighth grade. Earlier this spring, Stewart took an unofficial visit to Miami. While there hasn’t been much noise since he left Coral Gables, it will be interesting to see if the Hurricanes are still in play for the top defensive lineman in the 2026 class.

TE Kendre Harrison , No. 6 overall prospect

Less than a week removed from his first visit to Miami, Harrison – who is the No. 1 tight end in the 2026 class – enjoyed his first look at what the Hurricanes had to offer. A host of programs are chasing his services on both the gridiron and hardwood, as he is also one of the top basketball prospects in the country.

ATH Derrek Cooper, No. 25 overall prospect

The South Florida do-it-all athlete wasn no stranger to Coral Gables this summer and is coming off back-to-back weekend visits to Miami. After backing off his short-lived pledge to the Georgia Bulldogs, the Hurricanes are putting their best foot forward with hopes of fending off some of the nation’s top programs for the Broward County product.

WR Aaron Gregory , No. 29 overall prospect

Gregory has established himself as one of the top pass catchers in the 2026 class, and Miami wide receiver coach Kevin Beard has the Canes in the mix early. With over 50 offers on the table, Gregory has no shortage of suitors, with the Hurricanes among that group.

S Justice Fitzpatrick , No. 49 overall prospect

Fitzpatrick’s relationship with Miami head coach Mario Cristobal dates back to when Cristobal recruited Justice’s older brother, Minkah, to Alabama nearly a decade ago. That bond has remained intact, and the Hurricanes are among Justice’s top programs heading into his junior season at South Florida powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas.

Other top Miami targets who are expected at the Future 50

WR Jordon Gidron , No. 54 overall prospect

Back in October, Miami became the first Power Four program to offer Gidron, who has since become one of the top prospects in the country.

S Jireh Edwards , No. 59 overall prospect

The Maryland native has built a strong relationship with Hurricanes defensive coordinator Lance Guidry and linebackers coach Derek Nicholson, which has Miami in the mix early.

S Simeon Caldwell , No. 68 overall prospect

Caldwell visited Miami in the spring, and the Hurricanes are trying to establish themselves as a real threat in his recruitment.

CB Zyan Gibson , No. 69 overall prospect

Gibson recently took a mid-week unofficial visit to Coral Gables, and it looks like the Hurricanes are trending in the right direction.

CB J’Vari Flowers , No. 78 overall prospect

Flowers was recently offered by Miami, and the South Florida speedster has been making a name for himself over the last two years in Dade County at Miami Northwestern and Miami Central.

WR Na’eem Burroughs , No. 83 overall prospect

The Duval County product earned an offer from the Hurricanes early in his recruitment, and Miami is in the mix.
