Call & Qualifying Period of 2024 Municipal Special Election by the City of Baldwin
The City of Baldwin will conduct a Special Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 7am to 7pm, for the purpose of electing the following: The office of City Councilmember of the City of Baldwin, Georgia, being Post 2, which will be elected at large for a remainder term of three (3) years, one (1) month and approximately 18 days beginning on or around November 13, 2024 through December 31, 2027, with said Seat currently empty due to the resignation of Joseph Satterfield. The deadline to register to vote in the November 5, 2024, Special Election is October 7, 2024. The qualifying period for the November 5, 2024 Special Election will be August 5-9, 2024, Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm, and Friday, 8:30-noon. The qualifying fee will be $35.00. Sautee Nacoochee Center Awarded Two Grants from Georgia Council for the Arts
The Sautee Nacoochee Center was recently awarded an Arts Education Program Grant and a Bridge Grant from Georgia Council for the Arts for fiscal year 2025. The Arts Education Program Grant supports arts programs for K-12 students and also helps fund programs from visual arts to music or theater, to dance and creative writing.
