New substation for Pontiac Fire Department could come as soon as 2025
Construction on a second fire station on Pontiac's west side could start by the end of the year with the new estimated $2.2 million facility opening as soon as 2025. Starved Rock Country Community Foundation to Help Grand Ridge Secure Funds for Park
The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation is partnering with the Village of Grand Ridge to help their big plans for their city park become a reality. The Village has plans to add basketball and pickleball courts along with a splash pad at Grand Ridge Park. Along with that, enhanced lighting, bocce ball court and a horseshoe pit are in the plans for the park.
