Dylan Wester is a rising junior wide receiver on the Booker High football team. Wester transferred to the Tornadoes from Palmetto High this offseason. Wester had 26 catches for 433 yards and a touchdown in 2023. He holds college offers from the University of South Florida, the University of Toledo and Marshall University.

LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Eckerd beach volleyball team has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as a recipient of the annual Team Academic Excellence Award. The award, founded in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale. More than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs received the award this season. EC posted a 3.71 team GPA this year and finished the season with a 8-20 record.
