Road and Sidewalk Work to Begin Monday on Dayton and East Center Streets in Sandwich
Sandwich City Hall says road and sidewalk work is starting Monday on Dayton Street between Route 34 and Lions Road and on East Center Street from Main Street to Latham Street. The streets are being repaved, and new sidewalks are being poured. The roads will stay mostly open when possible, but sidewalks will be closed. Residents are asked not to drive over newly poured sidewalks in front of their driveways for a minimum of 72 hours and not to walk on them for at least 24 hours. People parking on the street will need to find alternative parking while work is being done in front of their homes.
