Measles vaccination clinic held in St. Paul
Measles cases in the U.S., including here in Minnesota, have health officials concerned. The CDC reports nationwide as of August 10, 2024, there have been 211 measles cases thus far this year, meanwhile, the Minnesota Department of Health reports 22 of those are here in Minnesota. Most cases occur in those who are unvaccinated. FOX 9 spoke with M Health Fairview family medicine physician, Dr. James Letts, about his concerns and need for target invites to a vaccine clinic.

4:10pm Update-After a chilly start today, temperatures have warmed up into the low 70s. it has been a beautiful day with a mostly sunny sky and a light breeze out of the northwest. There are some gorgeous puffy low-level clouds hanging around. The rest of the day is just going to be nice. Tonight, it will be another mostly clear evening, and lows again will drop near 50 degrees with some locations into the upper 40s.
Dry, comfortable weekend ahead for Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS — High pressure continues to move in on Saturday, which will help calm the winds and begin a warming trend. We stayed in the 70s Saturday. It'll be the same on Sunday though more likely in the upper 70s. It'll also stay dry this weekend, which will be the first dry weekend since June. We could see a few showers Wednesday and Thursday. Temps will generally stay in the upper 70s and low 80s.
