Governor Gavin Newsom signed a new bill into law that is being called The SAFETY Act, designed to protect students and employees from forced outings.It prohibits any school board policy, rule, or administrative regulation that requires forced outings of LGBTQ+ students.That includes preventing districts from telling parents about a student's sexual orientation, gender identity, preferred pronouns, or gender expression without the student's consent.PFLAG Fresno was one of the organizations to sign on in support of the bill. Fullerton Security Guard Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Teen's E-Bike in Irvine
A security guard was arrested in Irvine for the alleged theft of a teenager's electric bicycle. The suspect, identified as Adrian Norberto Lopez Silva, a 22-year-old Fullerton resident, is said to have stolen the bike last Thursday from the Rattlesnake Reservoir in the Orchard Hills area, just north of Portola Parkway and behind Fire Station #55, as reported by the Irvine Police Department.
