The program at St. Paul Technical College was started by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. It’s designed to bring skilled meat cutters into the industry, which has lost jobs over the years due to a lack of training in the workforce.

Minneapolis murder suspect to return to Olmsted County if released from Hennepin jail
(ABC 6 News) – The suspect in a Minneapolis murder case appeared in Olmsted County Court Friday on one charge of interfering with a dead body. Margot Lewis appeared remotely Friday, July 5, where Judge Debra Jacobson and the prosecution determined that if the defendant was released from Hennepin County custody in the future, Lewis would return to Olmsted County custody on $1M bail.

Verizon is one of the companies that can fill that void, by bringing mobile crisis response experts and equipment to first responders. One of the company's most important tools is a trailer called Spot that includes a generator, satellite dish, and portable cell service.

The Minnesota Aurora FC are out of the 2024 USL W playoffs after a 1-2 loss to the Indy Eleven in Detroit this afternoon.
