Water main bursts, floods intersection in Downtown Redding
REDDING, Calif. — Multiple City of Redding resources are currently working to repair a large, broken water main in the downtown area. At around noon on Friday, a 12-inch water main pipe burst at the intersection of Shasta and West streets. The rupture caused the intersection and nearby area to flood until City crews could arrive on scene and stop the flow.
