Junction City conducts water system improvement project
The City of Junction City has a Water System Improvements Project starting July 18th continuing through the month of August. Areas affected will be from 4th Street to 12th Street between Eisenhower to Jefferson. Those areas will have potential for minor disruptions of service during working hours and the disruption could range from one to two hours.
USD 253, city of Emporia report issues due to global technology outage
A global technology outage has reached Emporia. Shortly before 8 am, USD 253 Emporia announced PowerSchool went unavailable as part of the outage. This is important for parents because it involves all PowerSchool features, including enrollment verification after enrollment officially opened Wednesday. It also means the EZMeal app also can’t be used until further notice.
