Body found in waters by Middlesex County Landfill in East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK – Authorities are investigating after a body was recovered in an area of the Raritan and South rivers Thursday morning.

The male's body was discovered after New Jersey State Police Marine Service Troopers responded around 7:40 a.m. on reports on a body floating in the water behind the Middlesex County Landfill, police said.

The investigation is active, police said, and no additional information is available.
