EVESHAM — The township police department has rescheduled its National Night Out festivities to Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The free event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. outside the municipal building, 984 Tuckerton Road.

Heavy rain washed out the department's initial plan for a celebration on Aug. 6.

Among other attractions, the Aug. 27 event is to include fireworks, a helicopter landing, alpacas and a K9 demonstration.
