Rhode Island probation violator involved in alleged Westport home invasion facing drug and gun charges, 10 total
A Rhode Island man who previously served time for a local home invasion is facing a list of new charges. According to Rhode Island State Police, at just before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Troopers arrested 37-year-old Jayson C. Shute of West Warwick, Rhode Island for Possession of Ghost Gun, License or Permit Required to Carry a Pistol, Possession of Firearm by Person Convicted of Crime of Violence, Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited, Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited, Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, Carrying Dangerous Weapons/Substances Committing Crime of Violence – First Offense, Manufacturing/Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Possession of Controlled Substance – Schedule I to V – 10g or Less – Methamphetamine, and Driving with Suspended License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense.
