    CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford PD released an update stating that the scene was safe and there was no threat to safety. Shelter in place has been lifted.

    The Cranford Police Department released a Nixle alert at 1:21 p.m. today advising residents per Roselle Police Department to avoid the area of Dietz Street and Dermody Street in Roselle near the Cranford border. They also advised a shelter in place until further notice due to Roselle police activity.
