Downtown Cranford’s LEGO Night Winners

CRANFORD, NJ – While soaring temperatures meant a last-minute change of venue, Cranford LEGO night contestants still felt the heat. On July 17, the Community Center was filled with the sound of bricks being snapped into place.

Some contestants found themselves having to pivot at the last-minute as well. Eight-year-old Brady Anderson walked in with plans to build the Titanic , not realizing that the creations needed to be Cranford landmarks. Keeping with the boat theme, he found a photo of the Cranford Canoe Club and got to building. He was excited when his cool creation was one of the People’s Choice winners.

The LEGO Night judging team of LEGO Master Corey Samuels, Commissioner Kathleen Miller Prunty, resident and Lego enthusiast Conor Prunty, Jason Gareis, Margaret Hickey and Tom Connolly from Connolly & Hickey Historical Architects, LLC , Lindsay Clark, Marc Sabio, and John Guempel had their hands full trying to pick the best but finally chose the following:
