Cranston’s 10U softball team to represent RI in regionals

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — The 10U Girls All-Star Softball Team from Cranston is making its way to New York to compete in the regional tournament.

A sendoff celebration was held Tuesday morning to wish the players and coaches well before they left for Staten Island.

They’re not the city’s only softball team heading out of state, however. The Cranston Western 12U All-Stars will play in the Little League World Series in North Carolina next month.
