The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:. WRECK PROBED: On July 10, Deputy Seth McCart was dispatched to a wreck at the corner of Hog Mountain Road and Lane Creek Drive. A 59-year-old Monroe man driving a large truck for a tree service said he was turning into a private driveway when an approaching Honda Accord made an erratic lane change and hit the side of his truck. The 33-year-old man driving the Honda said he attempted to pass the truck because he was in a hurry. No one was injured, but the Honda driver was taken to jail due to not having a driver’s license and his vehicle registration was expired.
