Badgers to play season-opening exhibition at Omaha
The Wisconsin Badgers announced that they’ll be playing at Omaha in their first game of the 2024-25 season on October 5th. The game will be played as an exhibition game. The night comes with a nice touch for both sides, as Omaha will officially name their arena the Baxter Arena after their first head coach Mike Kemp, who was the head coach for the Mavericks during the 1996-97 season through 2009.

Badger Football Records That Could be Broken This Year
With the new transfer rules, it's becoming more and more uncommon that players play their entire collegiate career with just one team. Because of that, a lot of Wisconsin career stats records will probably never be broken. Ron Dayne's 7,125 rushing yards or Jim Leonard's 21 interceptions will most likely hold for a very, very long time. 2024 WIAA Singles and Doubles Teams Earn Boys State Tennis Titles
MADISON, Wis. – Two divisions of singles players and doubles teams were crowned champions at the 2024 State Boys Tennis Tournament played at Nielsen Tennis Stadium Saturday. Junior CJ Kryscio of Menomonee Falls, the second seed, won the Division 1 singles championship with a 6-3, 6-7(5), 10-7 victory over eighth-seeded Nolan Shaub, a junior from Union Grove, in title match. Kryscio improved his record this season to 30-2 after advancing to the third round at State last season.

Rafters pick up 'Fourth of July' win over Mallards
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters celebrated Independence Day with a victory on Thursday, taking down Madison 12-4 at Witter Field. The Mallards scored first in the first inning before adding another run in the second. From there, the Rafters took over. The Rafters scored their first run in the second before a third inning on a three-run home run by Max McGwire. Cashel Dugger picked up a homer of his own two innings later on a two-run bomb to make it 6-2.
