    AJ Louderback faces Jeff Bauknight on Tuesday, May 28 in a runoff race full of political mudslinging

    A total of 26 polling locations open Tuesday, May 28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    VICTORIA, Texas - AJ Louderback was elected five times to serve as sheriff of Jackson County. He was born in Matagorda County and wants to serve as state representative for District 30.

    Louderback is endorsed by Vanessa Hicks-Callaway who lost in the March 5 primary in a crowded race of four for District 30. He is also endorsed by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton and Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.

    Early voting is underway through Friday, May 24. Election Day is Tuesday May 28 when 26 polling locations will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    The political mudslinging has seemed non-stop in this race with text messages, mail outs and commercials.
