Vigil held for Edna murder victim

EDNA, Texas - The community remembered the victim of a murder with a candlelight vigil on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Jackson County Courthouse.

The crowd of community members, Martinez's family and coworkers received encouragement from a local pastor. They then lit candles in remembrance of Martinez.

Initially, HEB had planned to host the vigil before it moved over to the Jackson County Courthouse.
