Independence Day Concert at CF Library
CRYSTAL FALLS - Join us for an Independence Day Concert with the Foucault Brothers Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m. at the Crystal Falls Library. This acoustic oriented brother duo has a knack of taking a song and putting their own homespun spell on the music. They present a nice organic blend with tasteful interpretations of old time and contemporary songs. Roy plays lead guitar and adds a sweet vibe on his solo work. The older brother Paul, usually takes lead on vocals as well as playing guitar.
WIDL book and bake sale
IRON RIVER - Once again the Friends of the West Iron District Library (WIDL) will hold its used book sale and bake sale in conjunction with rodeo festivities. Both events will take place during Market Day Friday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The book sale will be held outside in front of the library with the bake sale being held inside the library.
Showcasing local artists - NWTC seeks to purchase new works through call for art
MARINETTE/OCONTO COUNTY – Local artists have the opportunity to see their work displayed around the campuses of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) as the college has once again opened its call for art — a process which has allowed the college to acquire nearly 400 pieces in its permanent collection over the years.
