Two rescued on Curry County trail
CURRY COUNTY, ORE. —The Curry County Sheriff’s Office responding to a report of a missing person after they got lost on a trail in Curry County. CCSO says a friend reported his 23-year-old friend missing after they walked down the trail to Natural Bridges about 12 miles north of Brookings.

Oregon woman dies on Rogue River after being knocked out of raft
A 66-year-old woman from Powers died Saturday after she was knocked out of a raft on the Rogue River and drowned, according to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office. Mary Kohn began a float with three others and a dog from Foster Bar Boat Ramp, near Agness and east of Gold Beach in southern Oregon, officials said.

On Saturday, 06-22-24 at about 12:41pm, the Curry County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch 911 Center, received a Text to 911, from Agness resident, Martin Gillette, reporting a drowning of a woman at Two-Mile Rapids, upriver from Agness. The information provided was that the female victim was on a rafting excursion with three others and a dog on a raft that started at Foster Bar.
