Walsh Jesuit football team’s impact players
Don’t expect the offense to slow down after last season. While all-state stars Brock Sherman, Brayden Foster, Noah Brock, John Keough and David Howersaat have graduated, the Warriors return All-Ohioans in Moten and Kish. Moten threw for 1,840 yards and 20 touchdowns. Weaver ran for 1,201 yards and scored 15 TDs. … Henry led the team in receptions (42) and added 536 yards and six scores, and also played safety and returns kicks. …. Kish, Crosley and DeSciscio make up a solid offensive line. Those key pieces will have the regional finalists trying to equal an offense that averaged 402.0 yards per game last season… Watch for Parris to have a breakout junior season. The wideout has offers from Wisconsin, Purdue, Kentucky, USF, Ohio University, UMass, Ball State, Central Michigan and Marshall.

What's new with Walsh Jesuit football in 2024
As stated above, the Warriors have a few faces to replace with four fresh starters on offense and six on defense. They’ll have to break in a new kicker as well with Ryan Demming gone from last year’s team, which made the regional final for the second time in three seasons. Expect Norton, Bernard, Jeras, Romanini, Brewer, Puletti and Blascak to have a munch bigger role this season. … Dachile and Biel are ballhawks in the secondary as well.
Walsh Jesuit football’s outlook
The Warriors have reached the playoffs four straight seasons and have a renewed determination. The only two losses they had in 2023 came against Division II state finalist Hoban. “The Warriors look to continue their playoff streak,” Alexander said. “They feel their schedule will prepare them for highly talented Division II, Region 5. The Warriors will be young on the defensive side of the ball but are excited about the leadership and talent.”
