The 2023 football season was one to remember again for the Wayne/Holmes area. It's not every year a local team plays for a state championship like Dalton did, finishing as the state runner-up to powerhouse Marion Local. LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Bowling Green State University volleyball program has a history of great success in the classroom as well as on the court, and to no one's surprise, that success continued in 2023-24. The Falcons have earned the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT. BGSU also earned the additional distinction of AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, representing the schools in the top 20% of grade-point averages nationally by division.
